Contact Lenses Exams

Contact Lens Examination Prices May Vary Depending on Rx & Vision Insurance.

A contact lens evaluation fee is necessary to renew the current contact lens prescription and is in addition to the comprehensive eye examination fee. This evaluation will include precise measurements, analysis of your vision needs and recommendations specifically tailored for you. It may include the use of diagnostic lenses if necessary by our doctors to insure the proper fit of the lenses and good ocular health. This evaluation is necessary if the patient has no previous history of being a contact lens wearer or if there is a need/desire to change the current contact lens fit. This fee will cover the initial evaluation and all contact lens related follow up visits for a period of 3 months. If necessary, it will also include the cost of any additional contact lens training classes needed for those individuals needing contact lens instruction for insertion removal and lens care. Call our office today to schedule your appointment for a contact lens fit.

Dilation

A dilated eye exam is the best thing you can do for your eye health! It’s the only way to check for eye diseases early on, when they’re easier to treat — and before they cause vision loss. The exam is simple and painless.  Your eye doctor will check for vision problems that make it hard to see clearly, like being nearsighted or farsighted, cataract, glaucoma, detachments and diabetic retinopathy.  Having a dilation eye exam will blur your vision and will last 30 mins-3 hours, depending on the patient. When having this done we recommend to bring someone with you to drive. Call our office today to set up an appointment.
